John Young

Our first ever Bull Terrier was called “Tina”, whose sire was Ch Hardras Prince Hal. In 1983 we mated her to Ch Rococo Ringleader of Ormandy. It was an exciting time for us and we were very lucky to have received incredibly valued advice from the wonderful Eva Weatherill. We kept a lovely Bitch from that litter and her name was Bella; this was when our show career began.

In 1989 we bred our first Champion, Ch. Bullyview Gentle Breeze, “Pinky” – her sire was Ch. Ghabar The Admiral – the rest is history. We have bred many champions over the years and have successfully competed in the annual Trophies for the last 30 years.

Mandy and I have judged all over the world and made many friends. We will both continue to support the breed, and the breed clubs, with as much vigour as we always do and look forward to the showing, to seeing our old friends and meeting new ones too. We also love to help those new to the breed and showing, so please feel free to come up and introduce yourselves and have a chat.
