Tyrone Probert

After spending two years attending shows just as a spectator, gaining  up as much knowledge as I could about the Breed. I took the plunge in 1993 at the age of 26 and purchased my first Bull Terrier as a Pet. That was it, I had been bitten by the bug. Within six months, I had added two more to my home and was fully immersed in the world of Bull Terriers.

Eager to learn and contribute, I began attending as many shows as possible, and handling for as many people as possible.

In 1996, I was honoured to be invited to join the Committee of the Bull Terrier Club of Wales. Now, 29 years later, I proudly serve as The Chairman.

That same year, in the February my affix was granted, and I began breeding and showing under my own kennel name Llanwenarth. Since then, I have bred and owned both UK and International champions.

Some of my most meaningful achievements include:

• Winner of the Ormandy Jug for Bitches.
• Runner-up in the Ormandy Jug for Dogs and Bitches.
• Best Opposite Sex in The Regent Trophy.
• Representing the UK Team at the International Show many times.

• Judging appointments in many Countries Worldwide.

I remain an active and dedicated member of the Bull Terrier Community judging, showing, and supporting events whenever & wherever possible. Bull Terriers are not just a hobby they are woven into the fabric of my everyday life. I am married and have two daughters, and our family life is deeply enriched by the presence of these Remarkable Dogs.

For The Love Of The BREED.
